It is reported that the stroppy striker issued a threat against AC Milan last week and told them he was going to leave if he did not play more regularly. Before he could finish his rant, the Rossoneri board were already on the phone to clubs around the world trying to find a club for him.

Alexandre Pato is a striker in decline due to the huge amount of injuries he seems to pick up every time he takes to the field, and although he has recently come over major muscular damage that kept him out for almost a year, he has picked up another knock which keeps him out of the biggun against Juventus on Sunday.

I’m sure Brendan Rodgers will be perking up like a meerkat in the news that someone of Pato’s calibre is available to hire with a view to buy if he the price if right. Just think, Luis Suarez with a South-American counterpart to lead the line at Anfield. Premier League defences are already cacking themselves.
