Defeat Could Mark The End

Mark Hughes could be out of luck and out of a job at QPR.

The Welshman has continually been backed by Rangers owner Tony Fernandes but his backing may be over following another Premier League defeat.

A 3-1 home defeat to fellow strugglers Southampton has left Hughes’ QPR side cut adrift at the very bottom of the Premier League.

A star studded squad, which Fernandes has heavily invested in, at Loftus Road will attract plenty of applicants if a managerial vacancy does open up and reports in The Sunday Telegraph suggest Mr Benitez and Mr Redknapp are ready for the call.
