Moyes Keen For Old Guard To Stay

David Moyes wants his old boys to sign contract extensions with the Merseyside club.

Phil Neville and Sylvain Distin have less than a year remaining on their respective contracts but Moyes wants the duo to stay with Everton.

The Daily Express reports Moyes is yet to seek talks with either of the veterans, or their representatives, but is hoping that the situation can be resolved in the New Year.

Although well in to their thirty’s, Neville and Distin continue to be important pieces in David Moyes’ Everton jigsaw.
