Adkins Remains Upbeat

Southampton manager Nigel Adkins has expressed his confidence at remaining in control, whatever the result this weekend.
19th placed Southampton take on rock bottom Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road and Adkins was equally positive about Mark Hughes remaining in charge at QPR.
Speaking to The Guardian Adkins said “I don’t think the result will have any relevance whatsoever for either manager.”
QPR Tony Fernandes has publically backed manager Mark Hughes during their recent slump but Adkins’ chief executive, Nicolas Cortese, is yet to give his manager any such publick backing.
