Canaries to look at out of favour Premier League pair?

How desperate have things got at Carrow Road?
Chris Hughton's Norwich may well be the league's second lowest goalscorers, despite all of Grant Holt's considerable efforts, (only Sunderland's remarkably stagnant attack have scored fewer goals), but surely they can bat a a higher level than Marouane Chamakh and Carlton Cole, as the Daily Mail are reporting.
This is Marouane Chamakh, scorer of a grand total of four goals since the start of 2011, two of which only came a few weeks ago in Arsenal's see-saw 7-5 win at Reading.
This is also Carlton Cole, a man being kept out of the West Ham starting line-up at the moment by non-goalscoring forward Andy Carroll (don't you dare throw England international at me!).
Perhaps it's time Norwich gave themselves a little more credit. If Southampton can stretch their budget to the signing of Gaston Ramirez, then Chris Hughton can surely look to at least be shopping at Sainsburys rather than Aldi.
