Tottenham may miss out on Brazil ace

Well you certainly can't accuse Tottenham of wasting their time.

After a pursuit of Leandro Damiao that's spanned two years and two managers at White Hart Lane, talkSPORT are reporting that the Brazilian striker is set to a snub a move to London in favour of a move to Spain and Real Madrid if and when he eventually decides to leave South America for Europe.

Perhaps Tottenham fans should not be too worried just yet. So Damiao wants to play for Real Madrid? I hear Alexander Hleb has been keen on a move back to Arsenal for a few years now and nothing doing.

Sometimes footballers do not always get what they wish for.
