Rodgers Need Martinez

Liverpool really do have a crisis upfront, the only obvious way to solve the problem is for Brendan Rodgers to splash some cash this January.

Despite choosing Porto over Liverpool, TalkSport say Italian sources are again linking Jackson Martinez with a move to Merseyside.

26 year-old Martinez has banged in 10 goals in 11 games since arriving in Portugal, bringing the forward to the top of Liverpool’s shopping list.

Martinez has an £18.5 million release clause in his contract which Liverpool would have to meet to bag their man.
