Messi An Old Boy

Barely a week old and Lionel Messi’s son, Thiago, is already a member of Newell’s Old Boys.

His dad’s boyhood club have moved quickly to sign up Messi first; before he has taken his first steps, kicked his first ball, even seen out his first week.

Goal.com says club officials are making their way from Argentina to Spain with a replica number 10 kit and membership card for young Messi.

It’s a shame, I heard Thiago wants to play rugby.
