Shearer has the credentials for the job...

The Guardian are this morning stating that Rovers' Managing Director Derek Shaw claims that Alan Shearar has all the right credentials to become the next man in the hotseat at Ewood Park - but the appointment shouldn't be made on fan hype alone... 

What credentials are they then Derek? He may well have his coaching badges and have managed in the top flight, but what are his actual managerial credentials that would make him a very good candidate for the job? 

Let's take a look... 

3 games worth of coaching under Glenn Roeder at Newcastle then an 8 game stint as NUFC manager where he won 1, drew 2 and lost 6 that saw the Magpies plummet into the 2nd tier for the first time since 1993. 

Are these the credentials that would put a man at the top of your list? 

If it were me, I'd be having a little look at Henrik Larrson or Ole Gunner Solskjær as the next big thing....
