Jonjo to light up England ranks

Chelsea Ace Frank Lampard is a doubt for the San Marino clash at Wembley on Friday - which could pave the way for Liverpool starlet Jonjo Shelvey to have a crack at the big time.

OK we'll use the term big time loosley in this case as it should be comfortable for the 3 Lions, however International experience at any level shouldn't be sniffed at. 

Roy Hodgson looks set to call up the 20-year-old after Lamps hit the treatment table after the Blues' 4-1 victory at the weekend. 

Shelvey has impressed lately both in the league and on the European stage netting a fine header against Udinese last week. (Literally head, there no hair on there!) 

It's just a shame the rest of his club side aren't excerting the same levels of effort....
