Guthrie sorry for twitter outburst

We've all done it! Tweet our true feelings even if they're not needed, and that is exactly what Reading's Danny Guthrie did after being left out against his former club Newcastle United last week.

Unlike Guthrie though, the majority of us don't have to apologise to anyone because of it! But the former Liverpool traniee has apologised to both his team mates and manager.

Guthrie tweeted "For those asking I’m bitterly disappointed not to play. I’m trying to fit into the direct style of play the manager wants and I pass to (sic) much at the minute which is my best asset."

Critical of his style of play, hardly exactly what Brian McDermott wants to hear from his new signing! 

For Reading's sake, let's hope these two can settle their footballing differences.
