Solskjaer latest to turn down Rovers job

Former Manchester United favourite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has shot down the accusations of him taking the reins at Eawood Park, and labelled it as speculation.

The 39-year old Molde manager has been linked with a vast amount of jobs since he traded his boots and shin pads for a suit and clipboard, but Solskjaer has explained that he has heard nothing from the Blackburn hierarchy.

Steve Kean’s resignation has not only opened the door for a new manager at the club, but has also opened an offering for Chinese whispers, as Solskjaer’s old team mate Roy Keane has also been rumoured to be wanted by the Lancashire club. Which former Manchester United player will be the next in line for the vacant post?

Dennis Irwin? Jordi Cruyff? What about Jaap Stam? Now there is a man I would love to see back in England.
