United to go out on a Bender?

Stop all that sniggering at the back.

Some of us are just born with unfortunate names. Fortunately for some of those some, they also happen to be international footballers. That is exactly what Lars Bender is, a Germany international who in fact scored at Euro 2012.

Indeed, with Darren Fletcher suffering from continued excretion problems and with Fergie's preference to play Michael Carrick at the back, as well the way the 70-year-old has seemingly forgotten who Anderson is, it is not surprising that the Daily Mail have today linked Manchester United with a move for Bender.

Football fans are often an intelligent bunch when it comes to players' songs. One can only wonder what they'll come up with if this move was to materialise...
