Malaga moves to Nuneaton

No, not the holiday destination but the centre back. Nuneaton Borough have completed the signing of Kevin Malaga from Coventry City on a one month loan, says BBC Sport.
Despite playing well in the Sky Blues' pre-season games Coventry's new manager, Mark Robins, has told the Frenchman that he is surplus to requirements at the Ricoh Arena. Malaga, signed by previous manager Andy Thorn, joined Coventry after his contract with Nice expired at the end of last season but the move hasn't worked out. One man's meat is another man's poison and Malaga has been shipped off. Hard lines for Kev but on the plus side he won't have to move house.
Mark Robins is doing a bit of a clear out having declared to the Coventry Telegraph earlier “I can’t carry too many centre-halves." Let's just hope that the ones he's kept can defend. Given Coventry's league position and minus 7 goal difference they will certainly have to.
