    Frazier’s going home

Fraizer Campbell looks to be gracing hometown club Huddersfield Town on a loan deal which will see out his contract at Sunderland, the Sunday Sun reported.

The 25 year old striker has failed to gain a foothold in his three years on Wearside since his 3.5m move from Manchester United in 2009.

The trip back home will surely be perceived as a regression to Campbell.  His time at the Black Cats has largely been overshadowed by injury, with cruciate injuries in 2010 and 2011. As a Steve Bruce signing, he’s been unable to make an impression on Martin O’Neail and it seems his time could be up.

Campbell has shown glimpses of promise throughout his career, which includes an international cap accrued earlier this year, and his presence at Huddersfield will surely be welcomed.
