Strootman continues to make eyes at Old Trafford

It's certainly been long-winded this one, but Kevin Strootman is again in the headlines. The Metro are reporting that the PSV midfielder has refuted suggestions that he will make a January move to Manchester United, who currently in the market for midfield options seen as their current ones all appear to be playing with the aid of zimmerframes (in the case of Ryan Giggs, that might actually be so).

However, Strootman goes on to say that if Sir Alex Ferguson was to come calling again next May, he could make the switch. The question must be asked however, who exactly has seen Strootman play? Sure, we've heard alot about him. He may also be a half decent player on Football Manager but does anyone have any tangible evidence that he is capable of playing for Manchester United (Youtube does not count).
