Chelsea set to rival Spurs for midfield tormentor

There's nothing like a good audition in football. It's been proven many times with Sir Alex Ferguson in particular looking to snap up anyone who ever had the temerity to play well against his Manchester United side; Robin Van Persie being a particular example.
But after producing a virtuoso display (albeit against John Terry) in the Champions League as Shakhtar impressively saw off Chelsea, the Telegraph are now reporting that the European champions will look to step up their attempts to take Willian to Stamford Bridge from the noses of Tottenham Hotspur.
Willian was linked with a move to England throughout the summer but supposedly his high cost put potential buyers off. Ironic, as this certainly seemed to be no problem when Chelsea were paying £50 million for Fernando Torres...or £30 million for Andrey Shevchenko.
