Bent prepares to exit Villa Park

One has to question Darren Bent's judgement. Just what told him, besides a wage hike, that moving from Sunderland where he was adored by the fans and staff, to an Aston Villa side clearly on a downward spiral....OK so it was just the wage hike.

However, despite retaining a very good goalscoring record, have you ever seen an unhappier player on the field of play than Bent recently? Mario Balotelli looks happier at times.

Thus, it is no surprise that the Metro are reporting that Bent could be set to exit Villa Park, with Liverpool and of course, QPR, ready to pounce for the striker who may need a move to reignite an England career that has hit the skids.
