Tottenham look to add a touch of Clasie to their midfield

Andre Villas-Boas is reportedly looking to secure the signature of the aptly named Feyenoord midfielder, Jordy Clasie. According to the Daily Mail, Clasie could be available for as little as £5 million, a fee which pales in comparison with the quite remarkable £20m+ Porto are demanding for their midfielder Joao Moutinho, a man who has never played outside the Portuguese league in his entire career.
One has to say that with all these midfield signings, Villas-Boas appears to have a touch of the Harry Redknapp about him? Just where does a Clasie or a Moutinho fit into a Tottenham midfield that can already call upon Moussa Dembele, Clint Dempsey, Gylfi Sigurdsson, Scott Parker, Sandro and even God forbid, Tom Huddlestone.
Perhaps that is just a natural consequence to working with Daniel Levy.
