I will fight for place

Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko is willing to fight for his place at City despite being frustrated with being left on the bench.
The Bosnian forward scored a late winner recently against Fulham but despite that he is still at risk of being on the bench after the international break, due to stiff competition from Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and Mario Balotelli.
Many managers in the world would love to be in Roberto Mancini’s position as he has four world class strikers who are all fit and all want to be regarded as the main man to lead the line for City. But the Italian boss is going to have to be cruel to be kind as he will be making some tough decisions in the near future.
Dzeko maybe frustrated about being on the bench he understands that he will have to fight for his place and he is willing to fight in training and in matches to impressive the boss.
Edin Dzeko is a recognised goal scorer and he can be relied on to score a late winner or equaliser in important matches that is why Mancini was drawn to him when he saw him playing at Wolfsburg. Dzeko’s ‘never give up’ attitude allows him to be confident he can perform well when given the chance.
