Chelsea after World Cup winner

You’d think spending £80million would be enough, but apparently for Chelsea it’s not as it would appear they are chasing the Roma midfielder Danielle De Rossi.
The one area Chelsea probably lack is a tenacious centre midfielder and De Rossi brings that to the plate along with fantastic technique and experience in abundance, which is important given the host of youthful additions Roberto Di Matteo brought to the club in the summer.
De Rossi has been heavily linked with a move to England and the Premier League for a good time now, however he was benched for Roma’s 2-0 home win against Atalanta last weekend, which has only increased speculation about a move away from the Stadio Olimpico
