Lions lose out on Southampton defender

According to NewsAtDen, Millwall failed to land a cheeky attempt to lure Saints’ defender Danny Seaborne to the Den last week.

Millwall, being Millwall, refused to pay Seaborne’s wages in full, so Nigel Adkins told them where to go but manager Kenny Jackett has signed a man with a name as tough as the club's exterior in Mark Beevers.

Imagine playing for a team whose stadium holds such an intense, hostile environment that players and fans alike dread walking through the entrance.Well perhaps if we were talking about Millwall 30-odd years ago we would have said just that, but who would want to play their football in front of an empty crowd for a team destined for a relegation scrap?
