Fulham could be set to sign Australian goalkeeper Mark Birighitti.

The 20 year-old currently plays in the A-League with Adelaide United, but rumours have emerged that the hot-prospect could be on his way to the Premiership.

Birighitti is highly-rated by United, and has represented his country at under-17, under-20 and under-23 level.

He is also the youngest ever keeper to play in a major final, a record previously held by one of the best in the world between the sticks, Real Madrid and Spain captain Iker Casillas.

Martin Jol has three first-team goalies on his books at the moment, with the current number one being Mark Schwarzer. Back-up is Csaba Somogyi, with the promising David Stockdale on loan at Championship side Ipswich.
