    Toffees sweet on Swiss winger

Everton may be in the hunt for Switzerland midfielder David Degen.

The 28 year-old, who is the twin brother of former Liverpool defender Phillip, currently plays his football in his homeland with Young Boys.

But it is believed that Toffees boss David Moyes is hoping to change that, by making a move for the Swiss international in January.

Degen is rumoured to also be interesting Italian team Fiorentina, who could provide stern competition for his signature.

He certainly has some pedigree at the highest-level too, having made 14 appearances for his country.

Degen is primarily a right-winger, and has scored 14 goals for Young Boys since he signed for them back in 2008.

Is this just another cheap option for Everton, or could Degen enjoy a better spell in England than his brother?
