This is why I don’t bet regularly

To follow the title….I am always wrong. I predict match results wrong, scores wrong, who will win the league, champions league spot, everything.

In 2007 Hodgson was brought in to save Fulham from relegation. Although his impact wasn’t initially felt Fulham managed a magnificent end of season and avoided the drop by the skin of their teeth. With West Brom the turnaround has been far quicker and more impressive. A defeat against Chelsea aside, West Brom have been excellent so far under Hodgson, culminating in a victory over city rivals Aston Villa. While Fulham barely stayed in the top flight when Hodgson took over, West Brom will not only remain in the Premier League but will end the season in the sort of form which, if extrapolated out over 38 games, would see them challenging for Europa League places.
What a job Roy Hodgson has done, it was only a few months ago he was under intense pressure at Liverpool, his stress levels were raising the roof. He was then relieved of his duties before becoming manager of strugglers West Bromwich Albion in a relegation dog fight.
The Premier League this season has an unearthed quite a few gems, no matter what club you are fan of it is always nice to see a player go from just a name on a team sheet to a headliner.
For all traditional Premier league football fans, the thought of a play-off in the premiership is not even worth considering. But, in many leagues and other sports play-off’s and other different ways of structuring a league are successful.
How many times do you hear the argument, ‘we’re a bigger club that you are?’ Well, after a row in the local boozer last night, I thought I would stir it up even more by putting the Premiership in order of big to little. There is no logic in the order, crowd size, trophies, history – nothing weighs more than anything else, this is just a general opinion supported by my argument as to why I place the club where I do. Feel free to slate my table, but support your argument with a reason as to what make a big club, a big club…
So, from Aston Villa to Wolverhampton Wanderers, here are my A-Z of teams still looking to book their place amongst the elite next season:
The game finished 3-1 when Dirk Kuyt scored a hat-trick of tap-ins, Javier Hernandez did pull back a consolidation goal but it wasn’t enough. Kuyt is the first Liverpool player to score a treble in this fixture since Peter Beardsley in 1990.
Nearly a month has passed since the transfer window closed, where clubs were looking to make signings that would change the course of their season.
