Includes Liverpool Target: Van Gaal Wants FOUR Manchester United Signings By End Of World Cup - The Candidates

Louis van Gaal has told the Manchester United board that he wants four players to have signed on the dotted line before he arrives at Old Trafford this summer. The Netherlands boss has supposedly given the club a list of names that he wants in United colours before he returns from World Cup duty, so here are the candidates and whether or not I think they should be signed.

    1) Yevhen Konoplyanka - Dnipro

The little winger has been on the Liverpool radar for some time now and it would be a bitter pill for the Reds to swallow if Manchester United got their hands on him.

He is a left sided winger that is exceptionally quick and skilful and I think would do a good job at Old Trafford.

    2) Bastian Schweinsteiger - Bayern Munich

The pass master. He has been integral to the German giants and although he is aging he is still a handy player to have in the side.

He can play in a deep role and has an exceptional eye for a pass, so slotted alongside Michael Carrick he could work brilliantly.

    3) Mats Hummels - Borussia Dortmund

With Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic gone, United need a top class centre-back. Hummels is that, and is a mixture between both of those I just named. Although he loves to get amongst the tackles, he is a ball-playing centre-half that looks to carry the ball out of defence whenever possible.

It's a big yes from me.

    4) Kevin Strootman - Roma

Strootman is a more energetic midfielder that can also provide goals. With Carrick and Schweinsteiger in the deeper roles and Strootman ahead of them in a midfield three, the United midfield would look a strong one.

    It's four yeses from me.

These list are the best for united as a club, but the question is would their respective clubs agreed to let them go?LVG should try and get them for us we don't want to go through the same situation we went through last season

Not one of these would swap their great clubs, for a mid-table premier league club...And uniturd won't get back into the top 4 in 2015,their squad is too old and lacks decent players.

Carrick needs to go as well, bring in Clasie

why on earth would Strootman Hummels Kono and especially Shwaisteiger come to us. Be honnest people Liverpool now is much more attractive than us and if they want Konoplyanka he will go there but let's say he will come to us ok great the other 3 just in our best i repeat best dreams...I'd say let's build from inside cause if we don't qualfy for CHL next season we are done and I mean it. Don't tell me blah blah blah we are Manchester United and shit like that nowaday players don't know the value of the club you are in CHL or you pay over the odds and I think we are not in either of them.
