FLOGGED: Three Manchester United Players That Should Be Offloaded This Summer

Louis can Gaal will take over as Manchester United boss when the Netherlands are knocked out of the World Cup this summer, and he is likely to make a number of changes at Old Trafford. Here are three players that I think he should get rid of.

    1) Nani

Nani has the strength, the speed and the delivery to be a huge success in the Premier League yet he has flopped massively since he arrived at Old Trafford. He struggles to take players on, he is a greedy player and often finds himself out of the game.

I think his time may have run its course at United.

    2) Ashley Young

Opposite to Nani, Young's quick footwork and confidence when taking opponents on is brilliant to watch. However he has no end product and has somewhat disgraced himself when it comes to staying on his feet.

United could do a lot better, and have better options on the bench, in my opinion.

    3) Tom Cleverley

He can pass a ball, but that's about it. He doesn't close the space around him, he doesn't win anything in the air, he doesn't create anything and he doesn't chip in with goals. He simply roam the same small circle in the pitch and plays short passes, which is largely ineffective.

Letting him go would be a starting point, in my opinion.

    1) carrick; 2) young; 3) cleverley; 4) rafael; 5) nani.

I agree we should get Nani and Young shipped off. Not so sure about Cleverly though, because he has got the speed, he can close people down and he can pass. Just need to be a bit braver with his passing and look for opportunities forward (as with the rest of our current crop of midfieldplayers)

Hopefully the likes of Januzaj, Zaha, Powell, Lingard, Lawrence, Wilson, Keane, Pearson, Weir and Janko (Bebe?) get their chance to develop under van Gaals wings the coming seasons.

Kagawa can go too as he is one too many number 10's. Smalling is under pressure following a very poor season where he failed to improve.
