Suarez Or Hazard? Why Barcelona Find Themselves In A Win-Win Position

Barcelona have had to sit back and accept the criticism being hurled towards them, as they went all season without a trophy. They had to watch Atletico Madrid lift the La Liga trophy and rivals Real Madrid triumph in the Champions League, while they were picked to pieces by everyone who had watched them. However, they look serious about re-shaping what will be a fresh squad under a new manager next season, by moving for Liverpool's Luis Suarez.

The Uruguay international, who ended last season as the Premier League's top scorer and recently scored twice to ultimately dump England out of the World Cup, is said to be on the radar of the Catalan club.

The Daily Star are today telling us that if they don't land the tricky forward, then they will move for Chelsea's Eden Hazard instead.

In my opinion, that's what you call a win-win situation.

The Belgium international had an extraordinary season and is still only 23. He would fit in with Barca's flexible style of play as he can play anywhere in the attacking berths, and would add a lot of creativity into the ranks.

Last season he scored 14 league goals, notched seven assists and made an additional 92 key passes.

Reports suggest that Barcelona will offer Liverpool £56 million plus Alexis Sanchez for Suarez, which I also think is a win-win situation for the two clubs.

Liverpool fans, what do you reckon?

While I rate Sanchez highly, £56M still wouldn't be enough on top. If we as a club are not asking for £100M or the equivalent thereof for Suarez then there should be no deal whatsoever.
