£28m Manchester United Target To Join Barcelona - Here's What Red Devils Will Be Missing Out On

Germany were handed a blow last week as it was announced that Marco Reus would miss the World Cup because of injury. The Borussia Dortmund playmaker was supposedly on the radar of new Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal  for a potential move this summer, so they may have been left sweating a little bit, but with reports are telling us that he is set to join Barcelona, that sweat could turn into a full blown break down. Here is what they could be missing out on.

Not only would he be able to operate on both flanks at Old Trafford, but he is also more than comfortable playing in a the hole behind the striker.

Last season Reus played 30 Bundesliga games and scored 16 goals, 13 coming from him playing on the left, and claimed 13 assists.

He is a creative force that is able to spark an attack out of virtually nothing and those playing around him are the ones that benefit from that.

He also scored five goals and notched two assists in the nine Champions League outings he had last season.

A flexible, creative, goal scoring midfielder - just what Manchester United need.
