United have struggled to command the middle of the pitch over the past year and have needed a player to carry the ball into the offensive areas.

Toni Kroos is a player who has an extraordinary ability when it comes to passing a ball, but he also has the knack of running with the ball perfected.

In the season just gone, Kroos played 29 Bundesliga games for Bayern and completed 92% of his passes. That percentage also goes up if you include his 12 Champions League games (94.2%).

He created 40 chances for his team-mates, claimed four assists and chipped in with 52 tackles.

He has everything in his locker and is still only 24, so I think signing him would be a superb decision from the new boss.
