No Giroud? How Arsenal Should Line Up vs Wigan In FA Cup Clash

Arsenal travel to Wembley tomorrow afternoon to take on Wigan in the semi-final in their only chance of silverware this season. The Gunners must win this game, so here is how I would set up the team if I were Arsene Wenger.

In a 4-2-3-1 formation I would have Lukasz Fabianski in goal. The Polish keeper has been brilliant every time he has stood in for Wojciech Szczesny and it could be one of his last performances for the club.

At right-back I would have Bacary Sagna. At left-back I would have Nacho Monreal. And at centre-back I would Per Mertesacker and Thomas Vermaelen, despite their poor performance against Everton.

Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini would be my midfield pairing, as they have impressed me throughout the season, although they were below par against the Toffees.

I'd have Tomas Rosicky on the right, Lukas Podolski on the left and Santi Cazorla in the middle.

I would drop Olivier Giroud as he has been awful recently, and replace him with Yaya Sanogo. The youngster has impressed me with his determination when he has played recently and is always looking to make things happen.

Arsenal fans, who would you start?

    -----------Fabianski
    Sagna---Merte-Vermalen---Monreal
    -------Rosicky------Ramsey
    ---Chambo-Cazorla-Gnabry
    ----------Sanogo

Flamini is suspended for two games and I'd rather start Ramsey and kallstrom so we can have someone as the engine and someone holding and breaking up play

    My preferred lineup would be

    Fab

    Sagna
    Mert
    TV5
    Nacho

    Ramsey
    Kim
    Eisfeld

    santi
    Rosicky (if fit) or Pods
    Ox (If fit) (Zelelam

Pods( depending on injuries i would play Akpom not pace and can finish

    Me, I'd go with

    Gk: fab

    Lb: Gibbs or monreal
    Rb: Sagna
    Dc: mert
    Dc: Verm

    Dm: Kim
    Mc: Ramsay
    Amf: Cazorla

    Winger: poldi
    Winger chambo

    Cf: sanogo

Subs...gnabry (if fit), verrano, rosicky, giroud, bellerin, eisfeld, arteta

    fab
    jenk-verm-mert-gibbs
    flamini-ox
    gnabry-ramsey-cazorla
    sanogo

Any line ups as long as don't ended up in another humiliation will be good enough. In fact without Giroud is a real blessing. If Wenger is sober this time, he should bench Vermalen, Szczesny, Arteta and Monreal. These 4 should also led the exit door next term apart from Giroud. This Giroud aka "Pussy Hunter" must be the top priority list in the chopping exercise.

To all Gooners out there- ask yourself on what ground Wenger should be allowed to stay? From 8 years now to 9 years is a real pain for us all. It is time Wenger to let go his hand and bid farewell to the Emirates faithful. He must go!!! Just imagine if we lost the match with Wigan, what could happen? I just wish someone could walk straight to Wenger and smack him on his face and tell him to get lost!!!! We had enough of his rubbish and lies...
