Arsenal Receive Boost In Draxler Race - Here's Why Wenger MUST Move For Him In The Summer

It has been a tough few weeks for Arsenal. Although they beat Tottenham last week, the Gunners were then battered by leaders Chelsea last time out and now look out of the title race. However, news from the Guardian will perk up fans of the north London club. They report that Bayern Munich have pulled out of the running for Schalke star Julian Draxler.

In my opinion he has to be a summer signing for the Emirates side.

Santi Cazorla has had a solid season, scoring four league goals and claiming four assists. Mesut Ozil has also been impressive for most of the campaign with four goals and eight assists. And while Tomas Rosicky and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have also impressed at times, I think Draxler would be that player to take them to the next stage.

He can play anywhere in attack and has a reputation of sparking attacks from nothing. Chelsea have shown us that you can't have enough attacking midfielders in the squad, and has seven assists to his name this season between the Bundesliga and Champions League.

He is still only 20, too, so he and Oxlade-Chamberlain could be considered the future of the Arsenal attack.

For me it's a must if Arsenal want to be taken seriously. Whether or not he signs is yet to be seen.
