62 Key Passes, 12 Goals: Why Hazard Will Rip West Brom Open This Evening

Eden Hazard snatched the headlines this weekend with an incredibly-taken hat-trick against a sluggish Newcastle side. The Belgian has been in tremendous form this season and has been labelled by Mourinho as the best player in the world under the age of 23, and I would have to agree with that. While the country gets ready to watch the Blues midfielder rip West Brom open later today, I feel as though the Baggies, and everyone associated with the club, are currently sweating at the thought of it.

Hazard has played 25 games this season and already has 12 goals to his name - a total larger than what he managed in the whole of last season. Mourinho has transformed him from a luxury player to a hard-working creative outlet who makes things tick in the opposition half.

Not only is he the club's top scorer this season but he's also created the most too. His 57 key passes and five assists is almost double the amount of next in line, Willian, who has registered 36 in total.

It will be up to Billy Jones - an average right-back in my eyes who has made a couple of mistake this season handing major chances to the opposition.

The movement, the speed at which he operates and the sheer inventiveness of Hazard will see the Baggies ripped apart this evening, I think, and I will enjoy watching the Eden Hazard show.
