3 Manchester United Players Who Need To Pull Their Socks Up

David Moyes' reputation has taken a battering since arriving at Manchester United in the summer. The former Everton boss is regularly seen wincing on the sidelines as his side succumb to defeat and they now sit in seventh after 20 league games. The squad are as much to blame tough in my eyes, and there are some standout offenders. Here are three players who need to pull their socks up.

    1) Ryan Giggs

His form is dwindling, but it's understandble considering his age. The winger-turned-midfielder has one of the worst ball retention rates at the club right now and he's done next to nothing when going forward.

He's scored no goals in his nine appearances, claimed no assists and won a miserable 28% of his individual battles - by far the worst in the first team.

    2) Marouane Fellaini

Since arriving in the summer, Fellaini has failed to show the Old Trafford faithful what he is about. His domineering displays from the middle of the park seem to be a thing of the past as he strolls around the United side without any real purpose.

For the good of both his name, and the man who put his faith into him - David Moyes - Fellaini needs to pick it up.

    3) Ashley Young

Need I say anything? The winger has made 10 appearances this season, and although he scored in his last outing, he has won just 33% of his take ons. With United possessing plenty of wingers, he needs to get firing.
