Liverpool: Send Moses Back, Offload Allen And Look To Sign This Serie A Playmaker With 7 Assists

On the whole, Liverpool have had a very decent season indeed. The Reds currently sit in fourth place in the Premier League table just six points off top spot and have a host of young stars establishing themselves in the first team.

There have been a few hiccups however, and I believe that in order to keep the pace with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City then they have to be ruthless in the two weeks that they have left in the transfer window.

Firstly I would send Moses back to Chelsea, if there is an option to. With Raheem Sterling sparkling out wide in recent weeks and Philippe Coutinho, Daniel Sturridge and Luiz Suarez making up a flexible attacking unit, I don't see Moses really fitting it.

He has made just eight key passes this season in his 13 outings and scored just once, and while he is a direct player who likes to run at opponents those around him are more intricate and enjoy linking up.

I would also try to offload Joe Allen. The central midfielder has made 10 appearances this season and has been very quiet on the ball, although that's the way he plays the game. Liverpool have Steven Gerrard, Lucas and Jordan Henderson who can play there, so for me the money could be better spent elsewhere.

For me, 25-year-old Ricardo Alvarez is a man I would be looking to sign if I was Brendan Rodgers. Capable of playing as a central playmaker, on the left or on the right, the Inter forward has claimed seven assists this season and scored four of his own goals.

He is a nippy player who loves to express himself on the ball, and surrounded by the aforementioned players I think he would flourish. This clip will tell you a bit more.
