3 Players Manchester City Need To Offload

Manuel Pellegrini's stint as Manchester City boss has been a mixed affair so far, though he did play his hand strongly during the summer regarding his transfers, in my opinion. I was sad to see Carlos Tevez leave the Premier League but I was overly excited with the players coming in. However, I would suggest that there is still room to get rid of, either on loan or on a permanent when the opportunity presents itself. Here are three players who I believe City should offload.

    1) Aleksandar Kolorov

The 27-year old is a bit-part player at the Etihad and it has been hard to judge. However, taking into account how little he seems to be involved, combined with the shoddy performances he puts in when he does get his chance and I for one think his time should be up.

    2) Jack Rodwell

There is no way that the 22-year-old has a long term future at City, and I think a loan deal with a view to making it a permanent one either in January or the summer would suit all parties. With Yaya Toure and Javi Garcia patrolling the centre of midfield he surely won't be playing much part this season.

    3) Costel Pantillimon

Let's face it, he's not going to get a game, is he? Joe Hart's form has been on a steep slope downwards for quite a while now and City need a shot-stopper to offer competition for the place between the sticks, not warm the bench with Richard Wright.

What do you reckon City fans?

3 out of 3 wrong. Getting rid of Kolorov leaves us very short at left back. Kolorav, for all his shortcomings, is still a better option at left back than what we have in the squad now.

Rodwell is, IMO, 3rd choice in the rotation. He's one for the future. Based on his current abilities (injuries not withstanding) he's much better than Garcia. Getting rid of him now would be a monumental mistake. Can't understand why you'd suggest otherwise.

Costel is Costel. Don't know why we need to get rid of him though. If he's happy to be Joe's backup, why change that. I guess you think that City should have Casillas and Neuer in the squad just to push Joe. Which is unrealistic.

IMO, those who are on payroll at the moment that need to go are Sinclair, Garcia and Gareth Barry (who's contract is out at the end of the season anyway). Everyone else, without getting an upgrade before selling, would be a mistake to get rid of.

Think your quite stupid, thats what i Think!

Kolarov has played due to clicy being out,who shold play the invisable man?
Rodwell he will play plenty of games for us this season
Pants a great number two to step in if hart is out.

Maybe this football lark is a bit above you... do write ups on ermmm knitting eh!

Once again I think you're wrong on all three!
    Rodwell will come good.
Kolarov is a decent player who gives everything when he plays.
Garcia....Hmmmm....Just not fast enough for this league

Wrong, utterly wrong, the three players Manchester City need to offload are Aleksandar Kolarov, Edin Dzeko (For a big big fee) and Javi Garcia.

Tell me i'm wrong City fans.

I have been following English Premier League ever since i have been in England and i have been supporting Manchester city,as i believe they are great.
From my opinion,i would agree with the writer in some area and not in others.
Regarding Pantilomi,i strongly agree that he needs to be offloaded as he is not doing much for the team and aside,i am sure he himself is not happy as he is not getting the match unless he is just there for the money,as i believe no team in the Premier League would pay him how much he is getting from Man City at the moment. Moreover,Man city needs a keeper that would challenge the performance of Joe Hart,as he has not been consistent.

Another player i thought they could offload is Dzeko.Yea!i do like him personally for his contribution but he is not an excellent finisher. He tends to squander alot of chances which a good player would not think twice before converting.I am sure there are striker out there that could be bought for the same amount and deliver more than him.For me,he is completely out of it.

Garcia and Lescot are not set of players i think they should offload because of their inconsistency recently.I am sure Pelli 'The Engineer' would do something this coming January unless he is waiting to face his waterloo and get sacked before his contract runs out.

    Shocking article.

Kolarov has decent qualities and is great cover for left back.

Rodwell has played amazing when he has played and will be better than garcia. with barry leaving he will figure this season.

And Pantilimon is our reserve goal keeper and probably the best reserve goal keeper in the prem.

Aleksandar Kolarov (leaves us vulnerable at the back every time he bombs forward and unable to get back in time so pulls Nastasic out of position as proved against Plzn) has to go and be replaced with better like Baines
Edin Dzeko (only good off the bench) useless over a full 90 minutes and needs 3 to 5 chances to score one goal.
    Javi Garcia (Completely Useless)

All three need to go and be replaced, Sinclair is fine out on loan because he's English and may come back in better form, Rodwell also worth keeping as he started to show how much of a good player he can become with consistency.

You are a disgrace to journalism (whoever you are) and have probably never watched City play in the flesh.
