3 Facts On Potential Premier League New Boy Dubbed 'New Neymar' (video)

Fans of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and even Newcastle and Liverpool have a new name on their lips. With rumours that the 'next Neymar' may be looking for a new club in Europe, the Premier League has perked its ears in anticipation. Victor Andrade, who currently plays for Santos, is the player I refer to, as despite being Brazilian, he qualifies for a Portuguese passport and therefore doesn't need a work permit to join the English topflight.

'But who is he?' I hear you ask. We at Football Friends have been on the prowl for three facts about the forward to enlighten you, the reader.

    1) Born in Carmopolis, Brazil, Andrade started his footballing career in the youth ranks of Benfica before making a switch back to his homeland with Santos.

    2) He then made his debut for the first team aged just 16 last year as a substitute in a match against Fluminese.

    3) Former Manchester City attacker Robinho is Andrade's godfather and has told the youngster about his time in Europe.

A report by Sky Sports notes Andrade saying: "My godfather Robinho has told me of the great experiences he had at Real Madrid, Manchester City and AC Milan. He told me how it made him a better player because playing in Europe means you must adapt to different styles and systems."
