    Can Norwich Avoid Relegation?

With the Premier League season starting next Saturday, what better way to prepare yourselves than to predict which three teams will get relegated? There are a list of contenders who the bookies think are the most likely to go down, and, apart from the new boys, they think Norwich City will get relegated. So, with that in mind, lets take a closer look at the East-Anglian side.

Last season, Norwich lacked a clinical striker they could rely on to get them the goals they needed as their top scorer, Grant Holt, only found the net on 8 occasions. But in the current transfer window Chris Hughton signed Ricky Van Wolfswinkel and Gary Hooper, who were Sporting CP's and Celtic's top scorers last season respectively. Norwich supporters should be very excited as they now have two of the most prolific strikers in the League.

Also, Norwich were not afraid of spending more cash to improve other areas of the squad - bringing in the likes of Leroy Fer, Nathan Redmond and Martin Olsson. Honestly, I'm extremely surprised that Hughton managed to pick up Leroy Fer, FC Twente's star man, for only £4.8m. I rate him very highly and he could be one of Norwich's most important players if they manage to avoid the drop. He is capable of steadying the ship by playing simple but effective passes which could start many attacks. Plus, he is only 23 years of age.

Before I finish this article, I would like to point out that Chris Hughton is managing Norwich the right way, bringing in young faces and getting rid of old ones. I think Norwich will have a comfortable season - although the bookies think otherwise.
