5 La Liga players we are likely to see in the Premier League next season - statistics and videos

It is not long until the summer transfer window is declared open and the clubs around Europe start making moves for their targets. Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal have already been linked with huge transfer dealings in order to lift the Premier League trophy so here are five La Liga men we could very well be seeing in the English topflight next year.

    Gonzalo Higuain

    Games: 28

    Goals: 16

Linked with: Both Arsenal and Tottenham have been linked with the frontman but it seems to be the former that are nudging closer. Whispers regarding Arsene Wenger offering £20m for his services are growing stronger which will widen the grin on any Gunners' face who happen to be reading this.

    Cesc Fabregas

    Games: 32

    Goals: 11

Linked with: Manchester United are said to have pulled ahead in the race with Arsenal to sign the Barcelona midfielder after the club revealed he is available to leave. Many Premier League fans will be willing him back to England in order to witness his alluring craft in the middle of the pitch. A deal in the region of £40m is being touted.

    Pepe

     Games: 28

    Goals: 2

Linked with: After falling out with manager Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid and falling behind Sergio Ramos and Rafael Varane in the pecking order, Pepe has been making noises about leaving the Spanish capital. Manchester City, who are expected to have former Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini at the helm next season, are said to be trying to negotiate a deal.

    Cristiano Ronaldo

    Games: 34

    Goals: 34

Linked with: Well, who hasn't been linked with the megastar? The obvious destination for Ronaldo is Manchester United, who are supposedly ready to offer an enormous fee to Real Madrid, but both Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain could also make an offer. Whoever he represents next year will have the last laugh.

    Iago Aspas

    Games: 34

    Goals: 12

Linked with: Liverpool are supposedly locked in talks with the forward and a deal could be concluded within the next few weeks. The Reds are starting to flourish under Brendan Rodgers and when he has a squad shaped to his liking we can expect big things. Aspas would really compliment the likes of Phillippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge should he sign on the dotted line.
