Chelsea could sell £110m trio to fund Cavani move

We know that changes will happen under Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, but not many of us thought it would to the scale that the Sunday Times are reporting today. According to the paper the club will listen to offers for David Luiz, Fernando Torres and remarkably two-time Chelsea Player of the Year Juan Mata.

Yes, Torres has struggled since he made his £50m move to Stamford Bridge and would be expected to shipped out, and if David Luiz wanted to join Barcelona (£35m) then it would be hard to keep him shackled in west London and Mourinho would have to let him go, albeit through gritted teeth, but Juan Mata? The Spaniard signed for £25m in 2011 and was one of the most impressive players in the Premier League last season and it was be disastrous to lose him if they're serious about a title challenge. 

A number of forwards have been linked with a move, however, and the money raised from departures will be thrown into the Edinson Cavani fund as the Napoli man retains the Special One's number one priority.

Mario Gomez is the latest name to be thrown into the Chelsea hat and his compatriot Andre Schurrle is on the cusp of completing his move also, BUT SELLING JUAN MATA?!

Seriously, I am truly staggered that the Sunday Times could publish so much unsubstantiated rubbish. Do you honestly think that the club would ever allow Mata to leave. The same goes for Luiz who is a superstar. Torres may be a different thing but Mourinho is not about to destabilise the club or fans by doing such a ludicrous thing as you suggest.

Torres is free to go but for luiz and especially mata would be catastrophic to club and fans

In my opinion,
Torres and even Luiz (as Mangala, and Kenneth Omeruo are most probably coming on defense.) is OK.
We have Essien, Mikel and Romeu in defensive mid.

But Mata ???
Nop. Simply not.

Get Cavani, Hulk, Schurrle and Mangala.
Sell Luiz, Torres and even Ba (ONLY IF ABOVE 4 ARE BROUGHT !!!)
