3 reasons Manchester wont win the Premier League trophy under David Moyes next year

With Everton announcing that David Moyes is to step down at the end of the season in order to take control of Manchester United, we take a look at three reasons that he may not be able to retain the Premier League title in his debut season.

    1)Pressure

We all know what Sir Alex Ferguson has achieved at Manchester United is nothing short of incredible. After 26 years in charge and 38 major trophies later, The Old Trafford faithful are used to winning silverware. Imagine the uproar if the club starts to dwindle and decline like Liverpool have after their success in the 80s. Imagine the abuse David Moyes will get if he hands the Premier League trophy back to neighbours Manchester City or even Chelsea or Arsenal. David Moyes needs to secure some sort of silverware early on in his tenure and get off to a good running start, or else I smell trouble.

    2) Change

When one man has been running things for almost three decades, a change in structure is always going to unbalance procedures even if it is just for a short while. Moyes will finally have the money to spend to capture the playing staff he has always dreamed about, but it will be important to get the equilibrium correct at an early stage.

    3) Naivety

Touching on what I said earlier, Manchester United are used to winning, there will undoubtedly heads in the crowd expecting the Red Devils to claim victories every single week. If this arrogance transmits into the playing staff, or even the managerial team, then they will be in for a big shock. However, if any individual is capable of keeping players' feet on the ground it is Moyes.
