Barcelona preparing £21m offer for Chelsea man

Jose Mourinho could be dealt a huge blow when he arrives as Chelsea boss as David Luiz has refused to rule out a move to the Spanish giants Barcelona, or so say the Daily Star. However, the Portuguese manager is set to hold a meeting with the defender to persuade him to stay in west London.

Imagine the loss of business to the barbers in London should Luiz leave the capital..

Chelsea's defence has been highlighted as one of the areas that needs serious strengthening in the coming months as John Terry's career continues to decline in a rapid spiral. The blues are in need of a sturdy centre-back to cement the backline with only Gary Cahill as a reliable option for the new gaffer.

Luiz has been deployed in central midfield because of his lack of discipline and tendencies to burst forward with the ball, but if the Special One can drill some sort of regulation into him then he can be a fine asset at the back.

Even if it is because nothing can get over that bonce of his.

Chelsea apparently value the 26-year-old at a whopping £32m but the Catalan side are only willing to offer £21m for his services, causing Roman Abramovich to scoff on his billion pound bottle of vodka.

21 million for Luiz. The though that Chelsea would even think for a second about selling him for this amount of money is laughable.
