Three Players Whose Futures Are In Doubt at Manchester United

With David Moyes becoming their manager, it is the start of a new era at Manchester United and it may be time for the squad to be re-vamped as they look to retain their Premier League title. Let’s look at three of the players that Moyes may look to sell at Old Trafford when he takes over officially on July 1st.

    Nani

After Cristiano Ronaldo left United, it was expected Nani would take over from his Portuguese counterpart as United’s key player. Despite a flurry of assists and goals between 2009 and 2011, Nani has had a torrid time at United since due to injuries and a loss of form. It is highly likely that he will move abroad this summer as most United fans have had enough of his poor performances.

    Anderson

Like Nani, Anderson was purchased in the summer of 2007 and has failed to live up to his price tag. In fact, Anderson has done very little indeed since joining and only completed 90 minutes just 18 times under Fergie. It is highly unlikely David Moyes would have the same patience with the Brazilian as Fergie and it looks as though his time is up at Old Trafford too.

    Wayne Rooney

There has been speculation all season about Rooney future with PSG and Bayern Munich in particular rumoured to be looking at the England superstar. It is also well known that Rooney had a bust up with the new United manager David Moyes, over comments made in his autobiography following his departure from Everton. Although Moyes said in 2010 that he had ‘made up with a more mature Rooney’, it is questionable whether he would want to work with him again. Rooney has been a key figure at Old Trafford for almost a decade but it could finally be the time for him to leave as a new era is upon Manchester United.

You have selected our 3 most skill full players. I can understand why with injuries etc but the players we should be looking to axe from the squad are Evans, Giggs, Valencia and Fletcher.
