3 midfielders Arsenal should be looking at this summer - statistics and videos

It is bound to be a summer of change at the Emirates as Arsenal gear up for a serious title challenge in next year's Premier League.

    Patrick Ebert - Real Vallacano - 26

The German midfielder is currently plying his trade in the Spanish topflight with Real Valladolid after he was released by Hertha Berlin. He has, though, proved how good he can be this season and has been rumoured to a move at to a bigger club.

This may not be the big money move Arsenal fans are after this summer, but the 26-year-old would certainly provide a different option for Arsene Wenger should he arrive in north London.

     Cesc Fabregas - Barcelona - 26

    Games played: 28

    Goals scored: 10

    Shot accuracy: 67%

    Chances created: 44

    Pass Accuracy: 88%

The man that every single Arsenal fan wants to see at the Emirates next season. The Spaniard is still remembered fondly by supporters of the club and Barcelona still owe Arsenal part of the transfer fee that took him to Camp Nou in 2011.

His brilliance on the ball is something he showed on a regular basis whilst playing for the Gunners but is expected to be leaving Catalonia in the summer as Barcelona reshuffle their pack to recapture the European dominance they have been known for over the last few years.

    Morgan Schneiderlin - Southampton - 23

    Games played: 34

    Goals scored: 5

    Shot accuracy: 29%

    Chances created: 28

    Pass Accuracy: 85%

The Saints man has impressed immensely in his first season in the Premier League and has shown why he has been so highly sought after in the last few years. His composure on the ball suggests that he has been playing twice the amount of time that he actually has and the way he picks a pass is alluring to watch.

Southampton have the Frenchman under contract for another three years so a substantial fee would be required should Wenger want his countryman in his midfield.
