    It seems to be that Everton are always fancied as a club to scrape a finish inside the top six in the Premier League.  Manager David Moyes has transformed the club into a hard-working, passionate bunch of players who make the most of their limited ability, making it increasingly difficult for those above them to break them down and get a result. This is, of course, a stereotypical view of the Merseysiders, but they seem to strive on the pride of the club.

    They have had a strong season this time out. At the time of writing this they sit above neighbours Liverpool in sixth place, and they will like to think that they have a good chance of nipping in front of Arsenal for a top five finish.

    Here we take a look at who has been pulling their weight in the Toffees' squad with a close eye on their statistics. To start us off, the man who just missed out on a spot in the list - Tim Howard.

    The American shot-stopper has played 29 games this year, making a total of seven clean sheets. He makes an average of 2.14 saves per game, has an average claim success of 93%.

    He is, and has been for some years, Everton's number one choice between the sticks and is likely to be as long as Moyes is in charge of the club.
