West Ham United are the devil

It's been announced this week that the Olympic Stadium will be the new home of Premier League side West Ham United, must to the disgust of literally everyone - everyone except the West Ham owners Gold and Sullivan, and me.

The fight to make the Olympic Stadium a clubs habitat has been in full swing for a while now; West Ham United and Leyton Orient being the main contenders (and the nearest to it).

After Leyton Orient chairman Barry Hearn heard the Olympic Stadium was up for grabs, he basically said if West Ham take it, it'll put a club like Orient out of business and I'll be honest, I don't care.

But I'm not here to talk about that, I'm here to talk about how vile, sickening, stone-hearted, thick-brained and pure evil Gold and Sullivan are.

I cannot believe they have paid a minimal amount (in stadium money terms) of £15million(ish) and will now rent a stadium and receive half of the catering costs, half of the naming rights and receive around £100million for the sale of Upton Park and save around another £100million in costs they would've spent should they've stayed at Upton Park....

    I jest.

Of course I can see why they've done it. Football has changed. It's no longer about helping your neighbours out and giving your friends support. Football is a business and this business is one that will begin to boom.

Leyton Orient's Barry Hearn may not like it this was round, but if he were in Gold and Sullivan's shoes, I'm sure he'd do exactly the same. Why wouldn't you?

I agree with all of this except the part about west ham screwing over their neighbours, every year they hold friendlies at Colchester UTD and Ipswich UTD all proceeds going to the home teams and they take none of the money generated. All part of helping the local teams in the community

West Ham will get only £35m for their ground based on the value of the ground it stands on. £100m is the book value which includes the structures on it, which are worthless to any purchaser. As for Orient, their chairman is a chancer. He proposed to move Orient to Harlow or Basildon a few years ago. He is just after a pay off.

This is way over the top. 'Pure evil'! Complete nonsense.

    Lanos, it's called sarcasm.
