    PREVIEW: Tottenham vs Newcastle

The Magpies head to North London this Saturday lunch time for the first time since last seasons 5-0 thumping by Spurs.

Tottenham are in great form and have not suffered defeat in their last nine games.

Newcastle, on the other hand, have recently recorded their first back-to-back wins of the season over Aston Villa and Chelsea. Before this Newcastle had lost six of their previous eight league matches.

But can last weeks triumphant win over Chelsea spark a sudden change in form? Moussa Sissoko (pictured left) looked some player against Chelsea and should he continue this sort of play, Newcastle do have a chance. Yes, it's a big ask to take all three points, but I'm sure most Geordie's would take a point before kick off.

However, Tottenham will be with without top goal scorer Jermain Defoe after the striker picked up a knock last week. Luckily for Spurs, Togo were knocked out of the African Cup of Nations meaning Adebayor is back and available should AVB call upon his services. Villas-Boas also has hinted this week at playing Welsh winger, Gareth Bale, in a more central role - thus keeping Adebayor firmly on the bench.

Whatever the starting line-ups will be, this game is sure to be full of goals and exciting football. The midfield battle is one I am relishing and is where the game will be won or lost.

    PREDICTION: Tottenham 3-2 Newcastle
