Could This Man Be Chelsea's Short-Term Solution To Misfiring Strikers?

This season has been a mixed bag for Chelsea. Under Jose Mourinho they sit in third place in the Premier League table, four points behind leaders Arsenal, but have struggled at points on the road - including yesterday when they lost away at Stoke. The main gripe, for me though, is their strikers not firing.

Samuel Eto'o has scored two goals for the Blues so far while Fernando Torres and Damba Ba have one each, and none of the three really look like they can lead the club to the title.

One thing that Chelsea have on their side is that they have goalscoring midfielders, but there is one man who stands out in particular.

Andre Schurrle has spent some time up front during his career and his composure is ridiculous for someone who is primarily a winger.

The 23-year-old has spent time leading the line at Chelsea, too, and he showed his ability in front of goal in the tie against Stoke.

The Germany international scored twice to add to his earlier league game and took both of his goals brilliantly.

He's got blistering pace, he's got the movement and he knows where the goal is - he scored 14 goals from the wing last season, and I feel as though right now he's the option that Chelsea should choose to play up top.
