Manchester United: Drop Kagawa, Shoot From Range And Keep The Ball To Beat Newcastle

Manchester United invite Newcastle United to Old Trafford on Saturday in the weekend's early kick off. Both sides come into the game on the back of midweek losses - United losing 1-0 at home to Everton and Newcastle 3-0 to Swansea - and will be desperate to get their seasons back on track. I would argue that the Red Devils, and David Moyes in particular, need the three points more, so here are a few ways in which they can boost their chances, in my opinion.

First thing is first, Shinji Kagawa should be dropped out of the side.

This may be controversial but the little Japan international has done nothing this season to suggest that he is deserving of a place in the starting line up.

He didn't turn up against Everton in the week and was taking up the place of someone who wants it more.

Secondly, I would tell the United players to have a dig at goal from distance.

The Magpies have struggled with keeping long shots out this term and with the likes of Rooney, Nani and Robin van Persie at their disposal, there is no harm in trying.

Lastly, United need to keep calm and keep the ball.

Against Swansea in midweek Toon enjoyed just 40% possession and were totally played out of the game - if United can do something similar than then certainly have the quality in the attacking areas to make Alan Pardew's side pay.
