FIVE Things We Learned From Manchester City 6-3 Arsenal

No one could have envisaged the excitement that we were treated with during today's lunchtime kick off, as Arsenal travelled to Manchester City in hope of stretching their lead at the top of the Premier League table. They didn't, however, as City beat them 6-3 in an enthralling encounter. Here are five things we learned from the tie.

1) Fernandinho has a motor

The Brazilian has had a mixed time so far at the Emirates but it looks as though he has now established a sturdy relationship with Yaya Toure in the middle. He was incredible in the 6-3 win, scoring twice, making two interceptions and completing both of his take ons.

2) Walcott is back

The whippet-like forward scored twice in the game and provided Arsenal with a different option when in attack. He compliments Olivier Grioud's lack of pace and allows the Gunners to hit teams on the break.

3) Nasri had unsettled business

Going into the game many expected Nasri to put in that little bit more effort going up against his old club and he didn't disappoint. The Frenchman completed 91% of his passes, five of which were key, and completed half of his take ons.

4) City's home form shows no signs of slowing

City have now won eight home leagues games from eight, scoring 35 and conceding five. Teams must now expect to get beaten when traveeling up to the Etihad.

5) Hart should come back in

Pantilimon has shown what he can do over the last few weeks as Manuel Pellegrini has opted to leave Joe Hart on the bench, but after a few individual errors it could be a good time to draft the England number 1 back into the side.
